"Un'ottima pizzeria nel cuore di Siena! Direttamente sulla piazza del campo unisce prezzi modici (data la location) ad un servizio impeccabile, rapido e sempre cortese..per non parlare delle pizze che si avvicinano tantissimo all'originale partenopea!"

"We usually do no research for restaurants while in Europe, we just go where it's reasonably close to our hotel, and if the restaurant looks allright. Since we wanted to enjoy the ambience of Il Campo, we chose this restaurant, and we were both so happy with the food that we returned the next night as well.
We shared a Caprese salad and I ordered the martini risotto and my husband, a pizza aficionado, ordered pizza. We also shared a bottle of cabernet. Cost was 29 Euros. I absolutely loved my risotto and my husband seemed happy with his pizza, so much so for both of us that we ate the same thing again the next night. There was a waiter, an owner...I don't know, wearing a CSI Miami shirt, who was quite pleasant and fun to talk with. I loved my risotto so much that since returning home, I've tried making it twice, but it doesn't taste the same. I guess that means we'll have to return to Siena!
The real reason for choosing this place was the ambience of being able to sit and enjoy all the action going on in the square, so it was a real bonus for us that the food was so good. There are many restaurants to choose from in Siena, but why sit inside in a restaurant when you can soak up the atmosphere in Il Campo, which for us, was priceless"

A me il Bandierino piace e tutte le volte che ci sono andata non ho mai dovuto aspettare, poi il panorama è mozzafiato ( anche se essendo senese sono un po di parte), ci ho portato diversi amici e parenti e tutti hanno apprezato. Lo consiglierei ancora..
